Xiaosong graduated from Iowa State University in 2019 with a PhD in aerospace engineering. He was a postdoc in the MDO Lab at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is now an assistant professor of aerospace engineering at the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, Missouri.
