Welcome to the Computational Design Laboratory (CODE Lab) at the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Purdue University, led by Prof. Leifur Thor Leifsson. Our research focuses on advancing fundamental computational methods for surrogate-based modeling and optimization, and multidisciplinary design optimization. Our current applications include design optimization and uncertainty quantification of aircraft, aerodynamic shapes, space systems, microwave systems, nondestructive testing systems, and food-water-energy systems.
