Welcome to the Clean Energy Research Laboratory (CERL)The Clean Energy Research Laboratory is one portion of the overall renewable energy laboratory of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Lousivlle. The majority of the activities are directed by Dr. Park and conducted by his students. The CERL conducts research and engineering activities in five main categories: Energy Storages, Energy Efficiency Conversion Systems, Biofuels, Electrochemical Sensors, and Advanced Energy Materials. Our research group is interested in novel nanomaterials and processing techniques for energy and electronic applications by securing the core and discriminated technologies of the nano-sized functionally graded materials, solid-state ionic devices, and electrochemical energy conversion devieces such as fuel cells, gas sensors, and flow batteries through both electrochemical experiments/analysis and theoretical understandings.
